Clinical Academics in Training Annual Conference

CATAC is a cross-speciality conference for all aspiring clinical academics currently working in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. We use the term “clinical academics in training” to refer to any early-career researcher in medicine or health, with clinical backgrounds in medicine, nursing, midwifery, dentistry, veterinary sciences, physiotherapy, radiography, or any other clinical profession.This unique event brings together clinical academics from across disciplines to present their work, and to develop their networks with each other and senior researchers.

Our next Clinical Academics in Training Annual Conference (CATAC) 2024 will take place at Riddel Hall, Queen’s University Belfast on Wednesday 17 April 2024. General registration for our 2024 conference has now opened and will close on Wednesday 3 April 2023. To register, click here.
This free to attend event will be hosted in by Professor Julie-Anne Little and Professor Danny McAuley FMedSci. Dr Lola Solebo will be delivering a keynote speech. The conference will also include oral and poster competitions, themed sessions, as well as networking opportunities.
