AAIC Neuroscience Next 2027 Hybrid Hub Applications Open

Applications are now open to host an AAIC Neuroscience Next Hybrid Hub in 2027.

AAIC Neuroscience Next is a free global conference designed to support students, postdoctoral and clinical fellows, and early career researchers working across Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and neuroscience.

The 2027 conference will take place from 15 to 19 February 2027, with activity delivered through a series of regional Hybrid Hubs. Selected Hubs will host in person programming alongside live broadcast plenary and lightning presentations, helping to showcase regional research, emerging investigators and expert voices from across the field.

Up to six Hubs will be selected for AAIC Neuroscience Next 2027.

Each Hub will include:

  • A regional welcome session introducing local research activity
  • A plenary presentation from an invited external expert
  • A lightning presentation round featuring local early career researchers and clinicians selected from submitted abstracts
  • Additional programming to support early career researchers and clinicians, such as poster receptions, career talks or networking sessions

Each Hub will be led by two people working in partnership: one mid or senior career researcher and one early career researcher or PhD student. Together, they will be responsible for organising the in person event, including logistics, audio visual support, registration, catering, promotion and any additional local programming.

The Alzheimer’s Association will support selected Hub leads through regular planning meetings and a toolkit of resources to guide the process.

The deadline to apply is 31 May 2026 at 11:59 pm Central Time USA.
