Become a NHS Leadership Academy action learning set facilitator

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The NHS Leadership Academy would like to train up facilitators who would then head action learning set groups for their graduate training scheme, across all England. This is for all across England

The Graduate Trainee Scheme programme benefits from having facilitators from a range of roles from across health and care. Previously we have had successful applications from roles that include GP, Director of nursing, lecturer, GMTS graduate, Policy Manager, Organisational Development Facilitator, Programme Lead and Director of Finance. NB This list of examples is by no means exhaustive and we would also welcome applications from across the whole spectrum of health and care who meet the following criteria. Applicants should be:

  • Advocate of action learning as a mode of development
  • Experienced and have understanding of other non-didactic development models (e.g. coaching, mentoring, experiential learning)
  • In possession of evidence of personal development and a clear desire to further their own learning and development

In return for the commitment to being part of this important work, applicants benefit from a comprehensive programme of support and development leading to an NHS Leadership Academy Award in ALS Facilitation.
