ISTAART Neurophysiology PIA: Neuroscience Mentoring Club

Organised by the ISTAART Neurophysiology Professional Interest Area (PIA), this engaging programme brings together leading neuroscientists from across the dementia research community. Our goal is to foster a dynamic culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within dementia science.
Each event in this series features an insightful presentation by a distinguished researcher, followed by an interactive Q&A session. Participants will then have the opportunity to engage in focused discussions within breakout rooms, facilitating deeper conversations, networking, and collaborative potential among peers.
For our upcoming session, we are delighted to welcome Dr Agustin Ibanez as our featured speaker. Renowned for his significant contributions to dementia research, Ibanez will share his latest findings and insights into the neurophysiological underpinnings of dementia.
The session will be moderated by Bahar Güntekin, whose expertise will guide the discussion and ensure a productive and engaging experience for all attendees. Additionally, our session champions, Matteo Carpi and Yağmur Özbek-İşbitiren, will facilitate the breakout rooms, fostering an environment conducive to open dialogue and collaborative exploration of key topics.
