MSD Protein Biomarker Roadshow London
November 12 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Free
A one-day scientific symposium from Meso Scale Discovery (MSD) at UCL, on protein biomarker research and ultra-sensitive assay technology.
From Discovery to Focused Biomarker Panels brings together researchers from academia, biotech and pharma to explore the latest advances in protein biomarker research, from high-plex discovery through to focused panels. Speakers from MSD, ProteinXI, UCL, Imperial College London and the Institute of Cancer Research will share how they use the technology in their own work, and there is time over coffee and lunch to swap ideas and experiences.
It will be of particular interest if you are developing bespoke assays or using kit-based assays to detect biomarkers on the MSD platform. UCL researchers have access to MSD plate readers at the UK DRI facilities at the Institute of Neurology and the Cruciform Building, so this is a good chance to find out more about the technology and what it can do. For background on where fluid biomarkers fit in dementia research, see our pieces on dementia biomarkers and how we use biomarkers in dementia trials.
