UK Stroke Research Workshop 2026

Join stroke researchers, clinicians and healthcare professionals in Manchester for two days of research updates, discussion and networking at the UK Stroke Research Workshop 2026.
Taking place on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September 2026, the workshop will feature national and international speakers presenting the latest evidence and developments across stroke research.
Sessions will explore:
- New frontiers in acute stroke therapy
- New approaches to stroke prevention
- The psychological consequences of stroke and their treatment
- New technologies for modelling and treating stroke
- Cerebral small vessel disease
The programme also includes a practical workshop on working with the media and getting your research noticed, alongside platform presentations, poster tours, prizes and networking opportunities. Delegates can also attend an optional evening dinner and claim CPD credits.
The workshop is supported by the British and Irish Association of Stroke Physicians, the Stroke Association and the Guarantors of Brain.
