Tell us a little about yourself:

I’m a very recent graduate of the Ohio State University in the United States. In May 2018 I earned a dual B.S. degree in Neuroscience and Molecular Genetics. Currently I’m spending my gap year working at the National Institutes of Health, and in the future I hope to attend graduate school for my PhD in Neuroscience.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself:

I once played an entire orchestra concert (on violin) with a broken pinky finger.

Why did you choose to work in dementia?

Dementia has always seemed to me like the cruellest way to die, since it destroys both your mind and body. I think our memories are extremely precious and need to be protected.
