Prior to starting my post-doc I completed a 4 year PhD investigating cellular models of neurodegenerative lysosomal storage diseases. I love working in Cardiff. In my spare time I like to travel, exercise, watch movies.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself:

I love doing jigsaw puzzles

Why did you choose to work in dementia?

I completed a placement year in the same lab I ended up doing a PhD, working on the neurodegenerative disease Mucopolysaccharidosis type II. Here I began my journey into dementia research and haven’t left since.
