Why did you choose to work in dementia?
I chose to work in dementia research because of the profound impact it has not only on people living with the condition, but also on families and those providing care. I’m particularly interested in how research can translate into practical, day‑to‑day support that improves quality of life and wellbeing. Working in dementia allows me to contribute to work that is both clinically meaningful and grounded in real‑world experiences, especially in community and home‑based care settings.
What single piece of advise would you give to an early career researcher?
