Tell us a little about yourself:
I am a pharmacist by training and hold a PhD in neuroscience, where I focused on Parkinson’s disease and mood disorders, particularly the role of inflammation. I currently work at Vesper Bio, with a primary focus on FTD-GRN. I am deeply motivated by scientific discovery and driven by preclinical research.

I play the piano.
Why did you choose to work in dementia?
I have always been fascinated by the brain and motivated by how much remains unknown about these diseases. The fact that current treatments are primarily symptomatic, rather than disease-modifying, has driven my interest in contributing to research that can lead to a deeper understanding and ultimately better therapeutic approaches.
What single piece of advise would you give to an early career researcher?
Stay curious and love the science, even when experiments fail. Research is full of setbacks, but small differences and insights can ultimately drive significant change.
