ARUK London Network Early Career Technical Showcase

29/11/2023 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

ALZHEIMER'S RESEARCH UK Logo

The day will bring together early career researchers from across the London network of universities to share techniques used in our labs.

It is open to all ECRs including students, PhDs, Post Docs, and Fellows. You do not have to be a member of the ARUK London network to attend but if you would like to find out about joining, please see the details below.

The day will consist of short platform presentations (10 mins) in a symposium format, to allow as many ECRs to share the techniques they do from strengths and limitations to tips and tricks, all mixed in with plenty of opportunities for networking to discuss things further.

We hope this event is accessible to everyone, including ECRs new to their projects and in the early stages of generating data. Come along to learn about the exciting techniques used in labs across London and hopefully this can act as a platform for new collaborations and ideas.

The day will include special talks from ARUK on funding/career opportunities relevant to ECRs, plenary speakers with exciting research techniques to share and ECR representatives from the ARUK East Anglia Network to promote more networking opportunities.

Catering and refreshments are included on the day and the event is free.

There is lots of exciting work happening in neuroscience research and this event will provide the opportunity to learn more from your peers and the wider science community.
