Cognitive Outcomes in Preclinical Alzheimer’s
December 10 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

How do you measure cognitive change in people who don’t yet have any symptoms? This webinar from two ISTAART Professional Interest Areas takes on one of the trickiest questions in preclinical Alzheimer’s trials.
As trials move earlier in the disease course, the cognitive tests used to track change need to pick up subtle shifts in people who still score within the normal range. The speakers will look at the challenges and opportunities in cognitive assessment for clinical trials of preclinical Alzheimer’s disease. For some background before the session, read Andrew Kiselica’s blog on why “normal” cognition is hindering preclinical Alzheimer’s trials.
The session is run jointly by the ISTAART Clinical Trials Advancement and Methods PIA and the Cognition PIA. You can hear more about the Clinical Trials PIA’s work in our ISTAART Relay podcast episode.
