Catch-up – Adapting the Australian Environmental Assessment Tool by Joanna Sun

Hosted by Adam Smith

Joanna Sun, PhD Student from the University of Wollongong, Australia, presents her recent work on the appropriateness of adapting the Australian Environmental Assessment Tool – High Care (EAT-HC) for persons with dementia in Singapore, and how environment is important to dementia care. Hear how this works, and discover ways that environment and assessment tools could be used in your own work.

Joanna’s research focuses on improving dementia care environments, exploring ways to enable, empower and enhance the quality of life of people living with dementia.

Joanne also recently wrote a blog on her research for our website, which can be read here.

This Midday Lecture Webinar was recorded on the 27th May 2020 and is brought to you by the NIHR Dementia Researcher Website, and hosted by Adam Smith, Programme Director at the Office of the NIHR National Director for Dementia Research, University College London
