Tell us a little about yourself:

I have developed an environmental assessment tool for facilities providing high levels of care for people living with dementia in Singapore. I am very passionate about designing environments that can enable, empower and enhance the quality of life of people living with dementia.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself:

I collect little Maneki-nekos statues.

Why did you choose to work in dementia?

It was the result of lived experience, witnesses the change in the built environment that my great-grandmother who was living with dementia resided in, and the detrimental impacts on her health and wellbeing. More information can be found here: https://bit.ly/39uUTzz
