We are delighted to announce Professor David Cash as a plenary speaker at the in person Manchester UK Hub of AAIC Neuroscience Next 2026, on the 26th February.
Professor Cash is a leading neuroimager and biomedical engineer whose work focuses on advancing neuroimaging biomarkers in neurodegenerative disease. He is Professor at University College London, affiliated with the Queen Square Institute of Neurology, and serves on the ISTAART Advisory Council.
With a background that bridges engineering, clinical trials, and imaging science, Professor Cash has made critical contributions to Alzheimer’s disease research, using imaging to improve diagnosis, monitor progression, and guide new therapies. His expertise in PET, MRI, and multimodal imaging techniques has placed him at the forefront of efforts to validate biomarkers that can translate into better patient outcomes.
At AAIC Neuroscience Next 2026, Professor Cash will deliver a plenary lecture exploring advances in neuroimaging, offering insights to inspire the dementia research community and the next generation of scientists and clinicians.
