Posters announced for AAIC Neuroscience Next Manchester

Reading Time: 2 minutes

AAIC Neuro PostersWe are really pleased to share the full set of academic poster presentations that will be featured at the AAIC Neuroscience Next Manchester Conference 2026.

Posters are a central part of this meeting. They create space for researchers to share work in progress, explore new ideas, and start conversations that often continue long after the conference ends. For many early career researchers, posters are also a first step into presenting at a large research event, and we are proud to offer an environment that feels supportive and welcoming.

This year’s poster programme reflects the breadth of dementia research being carried out across the United Kingdom and internationally. The abstracts span basic science, biomarkers, imaging, genetics, clinical features, public health, prevention, and dementia care, showing how connected these areas have become.

Across the posters you will find work exploring molecular and cellular mechanisms, neuroinflammation, tau and synaptic change, microglia function, and protein interactions. There is strong representation of blood based biomarkers, proteomics, imaging approaches, and cognitive assessment, alongside studies focused on care, psychosocial experience, service improvement, and digital innovation.

Posters will be available to browse throughout the conference, with dedicated time in the programme to meet presenters, ask questions, and discuss ideas. Attendees will be able to sort and filter posters by research theme and organisation, and click any title to read the full abstract on our website and in the Conference app.

We are also pleased to confirm that a poster prize will be awarded at the conference, recognising both the quality of the research and the clarity of presentation.
