Tell us a little about yourself:
I have been working for the Orders of St John Care Trust since 2007. I have been in the position as Head of Care for over 15 years, overseeing the delivery of care to our residents , most of whom are living with dementia. I am always interested in taking part in research related to dementia and how the findings can benefit how residents.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself:
Before my career in care I spent a few years backpacking and love to see more of the world and learn about different cultures.
Why did you choose to work in dementia?
It feels rewarding, knowing I can make a difference in the daily life of someone living with dementia.
What single piece of advise would you give to an early career researcher?
Involve your participants in the study design.
Favourite ways to unplug and unwind?
I love listening to podcasts while gardening and enjoy playing badminton.
What’s the best decision you ever made?
Backpacking around the world!

Too many to choose from.
