I write about dementia, ethics, and poetry.

I fluently speak four languages and am learning another four; I’ve had my poetry published in magazines in five languages.

Why did you choose to work in dementia?

My grandmother had vascular dementia and I thought it would be good if I could use my mind to help hers.

What single piece of advice would you give to an early career researcher?

Just keep swimming…

What book are you reading right now? Would you recommend it?

I am reading a French novel “Les Souvenirs” (Memories) by David Foenkinos and it’s a beautiful journey of how memories shape our present and future. He even mentions Alois Alzheimer! Highly recommended!
