I am a second year PhD student in clinical psychology. Prior to attending WashU, I received my M.A in clinical psychology and M.S. in quantitative psychology from Ball State University in Indiana. While my schooling has been based in the Midwest, I grew up in Massachusetts and love the east coast!

Tell us a fun fact about yourself:

I love getting lost in a good book, exploring new places, and trying new vegan recipes with my partner!

Why did you choose to work in dementia research?

I became interested in working in the field of aging and dementia after my experience working as a psychometrist and research assistant in an outpatient memory clinic. In this role, I learned that I enjoyed working with older adults and witnessed the impact that dementia can have on both the individual with a diagnosis and their loved ones. I was inspired to continue my education in psychology and have remained excited about research that may help prevent and slow the progression of dementia.
