We’re pleased to share the Dementia Researcher 2023 Annuak Report, which illustrates the significant strides we’ve made in supporting early-career researchers (ECRs) over the past year – very much thanks to all your support, and engagement.

Key Achievements:

  1. Community Building: Our platform has successfully facilitated collaboration, offering a supportive community for researchers. This has been instrumental in inspiring and retaining the next generation of dementia researchers.
  2. Comprehensive Resources: We continue to provide a one-stop-shop for dementia research-related events, jobs, courses, and funding opportunities, significantly easing the research journey for our members. After significant reworking over 2023, we are also the #1 return in most relevant search engine results.
  3. Diverse Engagement: Our offering in 2023, included over 120 blogs and 50 podcasts, and have reached researchers across 100 countries, demonstrating global impact.
  4. Inclusive Growth: We’ve seen a year-on-year growth across everything we do, websites, podcasts etc. users (+29% views, +53% visitors), with particular success in our funding calls pages (159% increase in visits).
  5. Positive Feedback: User testimonials reflect deep appreciation for our efforts in career support, research promotion, and collaboration facilitation – and with real world impact.
