Professor Masud Husain Announced as AAIC Plenary Speaker

We are delighted to announce Professor Masud Husain as a plenary speaker at the in person Manchester UK Hub of AAIC Neuroscience Next 2026, on the 26th February.

Masud Husain is Professor of Neurology & Cognitive Neuroscience at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences and the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford. His research spans clinical and experimental work, focusing on cognition in neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and stroke.

A leader in understanding attention, memory, and motivation in brain disorders, Professor Husain’s work combines brain imaging, cognitive neuroscience, and clinical neurology to uncover mechanisms of cognitive change and explore potential interventions. He has published extensively in leading journals and is recognised internationally for bridging clinical care with innovative neuroscience research.

At AAIC Neuroscience Next 2026, Professor Husain will deliver a plenary lecture exploring advances in cognitive testing, offering insights to inspire the dementia research community and the next generation of scientists and clinicians.
