Tell us a little about yourself:

I have been at the Alzheimer’s Association for the past 15 years where I have been able to work with so many individuals around the world, learn so much and see a momentum in our space that is translating to care and interventions.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself:

I was born in Australia and now live in the Chicago suburbs with my family.

Why did you choose to work in dementia research?

I was fascinated by the brain and what may be happening. Since then, our family has learned first hand the reward and challenges of caring for someone throughout all stages of dementia.

What single piece of advice would you give to an early career researcher?

Take every opportunity. Make those connections. Some will not respond but some will and it will help grow your network.

What book are you reading right now? Would you recommend it?

Some random fiction book. I have no idea what’s it’s called so probably not.

Favourite film of all time?

Not sure I have one.
