Tell us a little about yourself:
I serve as an assistant professor and researcher in Greece. My clinical work focuses on the psychological assessment of older adults and patients with neurocognitive disorders. My research interests focus on the application of neuropsychological methods and advanced neuroimaging techniques for both structural and functional evaluation of the brain-behavior relationship in neurological and psychiatric diseases with a special focus on older patients and how to inform policies regarding their long-term care.

I am obsessed with baroque music and I read at least one new book every week.
Why did you choose to work in dementia?
My path into dementia research began during my PhD, when I investigated the financial capacity of older adults. I was motivated by the realisation that many aspects of the assessment of symptoms in dementia remain underexplored, even though this group of patients represents a growing proportion of the global population.
