In addition to being one of the funders of Dementia Researcher, Alzheimer’s Research UK have invested in more than 1,000 projects since 1998. Funding research into Alzheimer’s disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, vascular dementia and frontotemporal dementia, as well as some of the rarer causes.
We’re pleased to share this recent short film created to shed light on some of the people and research they fund. Meet Chris Albertyn, who is investigating if a new mouth spray with ingredients from the cannabis plant could help to ease the symptoms of Alzheimer’s such as agitation or irritation.
