We are delighted to share that Manchester, United Kingdom has been named as an official hub for AAIC Neuroscience Next 2026, the global, no-cost hybrid conference organised by the Alzheimer’s Association.
AAIC Neuroscience Next is dedicated to elevating and celebrating the next generation of Alzheimer’s and dementia researchers and clinicians. Each year, this event brings together early career researchers, senior scientists, and clinicians from across the world to share cutting-edge science, forge connections, and build skills for the future.
The UK hub in Manchester is themed around the topic of “Biomarker Advancements for Dementia Diagnosis” and is being delivered in partnership by Dementia Researcher, UK Dementia Research Institute, Alzheimer’s Research UK, Alzheimer’s Society, and the Lewy Body Society. This collaboration will ensure that participants here in the UK have access to a vibrant programme of scientific sessions, poster presentations and networking opportunities alongside the global conference agenda.
This year’s hub falls just one day after the Alzheimer’s Research UK Conference, which is also taking place in Manchester. Attendees may wish to extend their stay in the city and make the most of both opportunities to connect, share, and learn.
Save the date: Full Conference February 23rd to 26th and the Manchester Hub full day event on the 26th February – more information on the Manchester hub programme will be available in the coming weeks, including details of skills workshops, networking events, and how to take part in person or online.
Abstract submissions will also open soon, offering researchers at all career stages the chance to present their work to an international audience.
