Tell us a little about yourself:

I am a Clinical Studies Officer working with ENRICH (Enabling Research in Care Homes) Scotland. I retired from my full-time mental health nursing post in 2021 and have since enjoyed working part-time supporting research in care homes. I am passionate about ensuring care home communities are involved at every stage of research, so their voices shape the future of care.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself:

When I am not working, I love being a granny to 3, they keep me on my toes!

Why did you choose to work in dementia:

I have been lucky to have spent most of my career (just over 40 years!) supporting people living with dementia in a range of settings and I learn something new every day from them!

What single piece of of advice would you give to an early career researcher?
