In November 2022 Alzheimer’s Research UK held their third Clinical Conference in London and online.
In this session Dr Vanessa Raymont, Dr Roy Jones, Dr Emer MacSweeney and ARUK supporter Carli Pirie discuss efforts around “Embedding research into clinical practice”.
In this session, we hear from clinicians who have successfully integrated research in their clinics and private trial facilities. Through a Q&A with the audience, panel members discuss the challenges and solutions to including research in services and highlight some of the best practices used to achieve this. We also hear from supporter Carli Pirie about personal research journey after her mum was diagnosed with a rare genetic form of Alzheimer’s disease in her late 40s.
The next ARUK Clinical Conference will be held on 10 November 2023 at the Royal College of Physicians, London and online.
